Woman injured, suspect detained after shooting in north Harris County, Pct. 4 says

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman was hurt, and a possible suspect was detained after a shooting in north Harris County, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable.

According to Precinct 4, deputies responded to the shooting in the 3500 block of Brimwood Drive on Sunday night.

While the woman's condition was not immediately known, authorities last said she was being treated by emergency medics.

An image shared by the constable's office showed the active scene as deputies responded to the crime scene.

Deputies did not release information about the detained person or any possible charges he or she may face.

Precinct 4 said the investigation into the shooting is underway, and that the public should avoid the area.
